Overview
Big Ideas Math is a “narrower and deeper program,” combining discovery and direct instruction approaches, that addresses the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. A deeper understanding of the math concepts is achieved by narrowing the focus to fewer topics and developing concepts through inductive reasoning, engaging activities, examples, and thought-provoking exercises. The program supports differentiated instruction as well as the 3-tier RTI model.
