The Iowa-Missouri Conference is starting an exciting new evangelistic project. A creative one-room elementary teacher is needed. Applicants need to be self-motivated, able to think-outside-the-box and discipleship-minded. We are planting a school with the intention of growing a church! The Sioux City church voted to restart their school as an evangelistic project to grow their church.
We need a teacher who will focus on the evangelistic aspects of Christian education. Programs, activities, and studies should be designed to not only grow interest in the Seventh-day Adventist message for the students, but cause the non-Adventist parents to come in contact with church members and the truths of the Bible. Everything needs to be planned with the idea of bringing people into the church.
This project will only work with the right person who has a pioneer spirit and a willingness to try new things. If this sounds like the teaching position God has called you to, please contact the Superintendent of Education at the Iowa-Missouri Conference of Seventh-day Adventist as soon as you can. Be prepared to give in writing some examples that you might like to employ in this situation. We are not looking for a specific plan, but for a person with a good idea of how they might carry out this task.
